Professional Experience

Alan Welder has been designing Professionally for over 27 years in both New York and Southern California. He has been fortunate to work for many talented designers throughout his career and would have to say that two of the most influential designers in his life are Don Pratt, whom he worked with for nine years, and Renee Van Reem whom he took design lessons from. Mr. Welder has exhibited his talents at events like Art Alive at the Museum of Art in San Diego many times.

Popular Clients

Alan has designed for clients Lerena Kreiss, Bree Walker, Linda and Lisa Harris and popular singer Jewel. Another of Mr. Welder's notable clients is the Buick Invitational, which takes place at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California.

Alan was born in Albany, New York and grew up in Cedar Hill, a small community located by the Hudson River. It was there that he developed his love for nature and spent many hours on the Hudson River boating with his family and hiking the trails. He has lived in Leghorn, Italy and traveled extensively throughout Europe. Alan is currently located in Encinitas where he has a flower shop that sits on a 15 acre flower growing ranch. He creates floral arrangements for weddings, parties, funerals and every day occasions.
